New Music from Gabriella Marinaro

In 2022 Gabriella released her debut EP, INNER SPACE featuring the stunning "Goodnight Moon" to critical acclaim. Since then she has traveled from LA to Nashville and back to LA picking up friends, influences, and recording new music we're excited for the world to hear.

Her latest releases, "GIRL BOY STORY" and "Cherry Sunday" are out now with more music forthcoming.

Gabriella explains that "'GIRL BOY STORY' is the breakup song I longed for as a 16 year-old, Tumblr-loving teenager. Rather than writing another sad breakup song, 'GIRL BOY STORY' touches on the anger and 'over it' attitude when the expected happens in a relationship."

About "Cherry Sunday", Gabriella relates, "I lived in Nashville during Roe v. Wade's overturning and often drove through the South to visit Florida friends, where anti-abortion billboards stand out alarmingly. It's disturbing that body autonomy gets entangled with a political and religious agenda lacking true morality. "Cherry Sunday" narrates a girl's "loss of innocence" raising the faith vs. reputation question to a privileged boy. Will his family fund her abortion or let blame fall on her, offering only prayers? Safe abortion is a fundamental right, not a privilege."
